Exciting Announcement

We will be launching our very first '2010 /2011 Summer' range of little girls clothes at the ASG Parent & Child Show in Auckland.

Dates: 29th - 31st October 2010, 10am - 5pm daily.

Location: ASB Showgrounds, Greenlane, Auckland.

Life's in a bit of a state of panic and prep as this event approaches. But we can't wait.

We'll try and load some preview photos of the range before the day.

Mary's Market Comes to Wellington

If you've ever visited Auckland's Mary's Market - but live in Wellington you'll be thrilled to know this weekend is the debut Mary's Market in Wellington.

It's being held at the Overseas Terminal, Oriental Bay

Saturday 7th August 9am - 1pm

Devonport Craft Market Debut

We're going to be selling this weekend at the Devonport Carft Market for the first time.

I live just up the road and have popped in several times and made a few purchases, but are very excited about selling here for the first time. It's also good to get back into it after a semi-break - plan to be doing more markets over the next few months.

We're hoping shed a bit of our excess stock (so we can create a whole bunch more) - We will be having some great price reductions for this weekend only.

Hope to see you there - can't wait. Only have the small hurdle on a 1 years old birthday to plan and prepare for on Saturday to get through first.

LOOK .... IT'S OUR VERY FIRST BLOG

Ok, so we’ve had this blog set up for a while now so it’s about time for our first posting and a few photos.

But first here’s a few background details:

The brand aprilmay is the creation of sisters Hayley & Sarah. Originally both from Wellington, New Zealand: Sarah still resides there and works as a nurse, as well as being a super duper ‘Aunty Sarah’. Hayley now lives in Devonport, Auckland, previously an accountant but now full time mum to 2 little kiddies.

The inspiration for aprilmay is a shared love of beautiful accessories, fabrics, fashion, creativity and design. It also provides a good excuse to spend time together, and make trips up and down between Wellington and Auckland.

We started small in 2007, selling at several fairs including the Thorndon Fair and Craft2 in Wellington and Christchurch, see www.craft2.org

We’ve also now got a few products in our first shop. A cute new baby boutique in Plimmerton, Wellington called Baby Vintage. As well as a gorgeous selection of new products all things baby and toddler related, they has a great portion of the shop set aside for resale of good condition preloved baby and toddler gear. They will sell on consignment for you also.
